Grateful for Life

Hi all.

Just wanted to express the feelings that I am having. I am so thankful for my life. I work across from a soup kitchen. I have looked over so many times and have felt a little guilty for all I have. Yesterday when I looked over, while eating my lunch, a bunch of police cars came screaming up. There were 4 police cars, an ambulance and a firetruck. There was a young man, seemingly so distraught, with his arms waving and yelling out language that I couldn't repeat. He kept saying get an ambulance. Short side of the story was that another young man was stabbed and he was taken away by ambulance. I saw him being taken away. I guess he had to have surgery but is stable. The police put up the yellow crime scene tape and started to question those standing around. I just hoped the young man would be okay. I just wish something could touch their hearts so they know how much good is within them. They deserve and could get so much more.

I had to work last evening. That time of the year again. My tummy was really feeling yucky. But I finished what I had to do. Then I went home. On my way home I returned a call to my friend Deb. I found out another special lady, that I had just started a friendship with, was killed in a car accident. My heart was so heavy. I talked for a bit with Deb and just felt what a waste. I had to start finding that joy in my journey because I don't know how long my journey will last. By the time we pulled in the yard I just wanted to cry. And cry I did.

I guess that would be my hope for all of you today - is that you find joy in your journey and peace in your lives. Don't put things off until tomorrow because all too often tomorrow never comes.

I love my life...I love my life...

Thursday morning/Friday

What is it about Thursday mornings? Too early to be called the weekend but you know that the weekend is in sight. I just wanted to express how much I love my family. I am so truly blessed to have been born when I was and in the family that was chosen for me. I love my mom & dad so much that I think my heart can't hold it all. My mom has passed through the veil but that doesn't matter. I love her as much as if she were here. My eternal sweetheart is my life. He is my joy and he is my breath. I love him for all he is and will be.

It is now Friday!!! Yahoo!! Dad, David & I went to McGinnis last evening. We had a great meal and then went to Chapters. Three new scrapping magazines and a vanilla bean frappachino later, we went home happy.

I love going places with my family. Can't wait until tomorrow as we are going to the temple. I hope all of you have a great weekend.

Friday - May 21, 2010

Good morning all. I am sitting here in my office. The wind is blowing through my window. I would really like to be out there, but I am blessed to have an office with a window. We are suppose to have a sunny day today so I hope it soon comes out.

This is a long week-end here in Canada. I don't know if I am taking the Monday off. I have tons of housework to do and perhaps I should get it done instead of thinking of places to go. I would love to go to Dad's for the weekend. That would be really nice.

I noticed yesterday the lilac, the apple & the flower crab trees are starting to bloom. Some of them are in full bloom - way before their time. Mike said that yesterday, there were wasps at Gorber's where he works. They don't usually get them until August.

I have finished the pills for my infection so I certainly hope they caught that it time. Word of council - IF THE DOCTOR CALLS AND TELLS YOU THAT YOU HAVE AN INFECTION AND WANTS YOU TO COME IN, DO IT. DON'T LET WORK KEEP YOU FROM GOING...IT COULD HAVE MAJOR CONSEQUENCES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am feel a little better. I just have to see if I need more antibiotics.

Dad, David & I went to Chapters and then to Ponderosa last evening. We had a nice time. I came home tired enough to go to bed.

Gotta go but remember this:

COURAGE is FEAR that has said her prayers!!

Just a Note

Well, May is here and soon it will be gone for another year. Certain things have calmed down in the office. There is not as much traffic as there has been for the past few months. The phone is still ringing lots and there is still much to be done.

I am having a bit of a hard time in transitioning from personal to corporate income tax returns. Fifteen days have passed and there does not seem to be much work to show for it. I hope that tomorrow will be the day that I can put my life in "D" for drive and get it out of "N" for neutral - at least as far as work goes.

I am sitting here staring at the keys of my laptop. I seem to have lots to say when I am not in front of it but when I sit here my mind goes blank.

Soooooooooooooooooo...I guess I will go and scrapbook a couple of pages of my mom when she was small. She was a beauty and I miss her very much.

Have a great week and hopefully I won't be a stranger.

Happee Easter Everyone

Just wanted to let everyone know that:

I AM FINE!!

Thanks for the calls. I had a wonderful rest yesterday and I am working now but taking it easy. I quess it is long past the time that I should have changed by eating habits and my exercise habits. Now, I will do it. I can't saw I will like it, but I will do it.

I had a nice walk on the dreadmill last evening and will continue to do so. My eating will be a challenge, especially at this time of the year. I think we need to find a place that makes food that is actually good for you.

Life is so precious. Families are so precious. I am so blessed to have both.

Happee Easter.
