Hi everyone:
Just a little blog to let you know that I have been busy. I have visited Dad for the past two weekends as he has not been doing very well. He has COPD and his breathing is very uncomfortable at this stage, especially with high humidity. His little cat, Sassy, died last Sunday and he is heartbroken. Sassy filled his lonely hours and was the last connection he had with my mom as Sassy was her cat. He is so lonely and sad it just breaks MY heart. I just want to stay with him.
I also spent time with my son Robb, who I love so very much. As I get older, I am reminded constantly about how blessed I am to love all of my children. That is such a comfort to me. Getting back to Robb, I was excited to spend time with my dear grand-daughter Sariah. She is talking so much now and sometimes she does have an attitude. I hope that Robb and Aliss are getting prepared mentally and physically for the new little one they will be welcoming in December. They will have much on their hands. Aliss looked great this weekend. Her tummy is so cute. I do wish that she would, when she has time, to rest. She has such a wonderful laugh. I hope and pray that they will always stay this close. Robb has a lot on his shoulders and at times this weekend I could see some of the weight. Robb, remember you are not superman. BUT, even Superman eats every meal...sooooooooooooooooo that means human or superman you must do the same.
I enjoyed seeing Jackie and Brent visiting my dad. I know how happy it makes him even when he doesn't show it. To all my kids...grampy will not be with us for long so you have to make the best of this time. He needs all of us to spend time with him and to call him, even just to say hi.
Next weekend I am hoping to see my dearest Dustin, Jenn & Marc. This is his first week at school and my heart and prayers go to him as he starts another long year. I love you Dustin, with all of my heart. You are nanny's first grandbaby and you have always been such a joy to me.
What else is new???? Not much...oh yeah...I got a new laptop!!! It was a gift from someone who respects me and my time. I love it and will love it even more when I can find the password to make the wireless internet work. I have the new PhotoShop to put on it and I am very excited.
I have been sleeping very well, with the help of new meds. That is suppose to help my fibro. I am looking forward to some relief from that "stupid" pain. I have been bothered by a toothache, and will have to go to the dentist, my absolutely most frightening thing in the world. Even more frightening than flying or bridges and that is saying something.
Must go and get back to things I need to do.
