Poor - What's up with that?????

Hi everyone - gotta with the title didn't I. Everything is going fine. I still have a Christmas tree up and it will probably stay up there until a little birdie comes and takes it down. I have been working very hard but had an awesome visit to the temple this weekend. I always feel so much better and this time was no different.

Topic of this blog is being poor These are the questions to be answered. What do you actually think being poor is? Have you been there? How did you find your way out? Is this a new thing for you?

My first thought was the money angle but most people think of that. I think I would either be poor with my time, or poor controlling my envy of others. I am scripture poor because i have not helped my understanding to grow of those precious words.

Could someone please finish this beautitude "Blesses are the poor for .................................

I don't know if this makes any sense, but I wish some of you would write about the challenges you had or have had where you have found yourself poor and were able to get past it.

Remember, this is not ALL about the almight $$$$$$$$$. This might of it.

Get those fingers going.

Have a great evening!

"Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

One can be financially poor, but live a rich life. We don't need to have lot's of money to be happy. We do however need to be rich in love, rich in knowledge of Heavenly Father and what he has asked us to do. It's this knowledge that will make us truly happy, eternaly happy. There is no weath in this world that compares to that.
I read this week an amazing quote by President Ezra Taft Benson. He said "Yes, Christ changes men, and changed men can change the world."
This is the wealth we need to seek after. Once we attain it, no matter how low our bank accounts get we will never be poor. We can change the world.
